S&A has extensive experience in using Excel as a reporting tool. Data can be fed into Excel via many channels (Databases, SAP, Files, Downloads, etc.).
S&A has written many Excel Reports using Visual Basic for Application (VBA) to faciliate:

Sales and Operation Inventory Planning:
For a larger company S&A developed a report that extracted data from SAP, merged it with forecasts from the sales staff and proposed production orders to be placed into SAP.

Pricing Report Pricing Report:
Raw material prices went up for one of S&A's client. S&A created a report that suggested list prices to reach a certain margin. The report replicates some of the clients's cost calculation.

The client provided large amounts of text-based data that montiors all their equipment. S&A created a report that showed over 600 graphs of various types of performance data.
